QUETTA: The Directorate of I&I Quetta following the directives of DG, Customs Intelligence Mr. Faiz Ahmad Chadhar and under the supervision of its Director, Ch. Muhammad Javaid has carried out different operations during the last few days which resulted into following seizure cases:
1. Seizure of 50,000 liters of diesel along with offending conveyance valuing Rs. 24 million;
2. Seizure of copper and lead scrap along with offending conveyance valuing Rs. 20.64 million;
3. Seizure of drugs ice (crystal Methamphetamine) weighing 4.5 kg and charas weighing 40 kg) along with offending conveyance valuing Rs. 182 million;
4. Seizure of seven non-duty paid vehicles including Lexus LX570 model 2016, Toyota Prius model 2016, Toyota Aqua model 2015 and others valuing Rs. 86 million.
Total value of the cases is Rs312.64 million. FIR has been registered and legal proceedings are underway.
All the operations were carried out in different distant parts of Balochistan with meagre resources available with the Directorate.
