HYDERABAD: Collectorate of Customs Hyderabad has seized full- container load of foreign origin body sprays, body lotion, perfumes at Sukkur, destined for Lahore from Karachi, which was being transported under the garb of an irrelevant GD with description of empty bottles.
Value of seized goods is Rs16.02 million, involving duty and taxes of Rs20.23 million (excluding vehicle).
In another case, 50,000 litres smuggled HSD and 15,000 litres Petrol were seized which was being transported in two oil tankers from Karachi to Mirpurkhas.
Value of seized goods is Rs17.5 million involving duty and taxes of Rs 3.97million (excluding vehicle).
