QUETTA: Customs Field Enforcement Unit Quetta conducted operations in Dalbandin and Rakhni and recovered large quantity of smuggled goods, which were being smuggled from Iran border to in-country in a passenger bus. The seized goods include cloth, tyres and spices.

It was the second successful operation at Rakhni in this week. The value of the seized goods along with passenger buses comes to Rs50 million.

It may be mentioned here that Collector Queta Sami-ul-Haq has expedited anti-smuggling activities soon after assuming his new office of Collector Enforcement Quetta.

Chief Collector Baluchistan Abdul Qadir Memon, Collector Sami-ul-Haq, Additional Collector Aftabullah Shah and Moin Afzal appreciated the work of Assistant Collector Dalbandin Haseeb Ahmed, Assistant Collector Rakhni Asad Saleem, Superintendent Asif Zaman, Inspectors Muhammad Rafiq, ASghar Kakar, Ilahi Bux, Zaman Mazari and other staff.
