KARACHI: The Collectorate of Customs Enforcement, Karachi surpassed its revenue target for month of September (Rs. 7.9 billion) by collecting total duty/taxes of Rs. 9.24 billion and also collected Rs. 32.55 billion in first quarter while the target for the first quarter was Rs. 22.5 billion.
Moreover, monthly performance of ASO increased by 290% (seizures of Rs.1080 million) vis-a-vis performance of September 2021 (seizures of Rs. 276 million) and quarterly performance increased by 142% (Rs. 1862 million) compared to previous year (Rs. 769 million).
The collection made by this Collectorate enabled FBR to surpass total tax collection of Rs. 1635 billion in first quarter FY22.
