QUETTA: Dalbandin and Rukhni Field Enforcement units of Customs Quetta have seized large quantity of foreign origin smuggled goods worth Rs 100 million.

With the assistance of Levies, Customs Quetta recovered thousands of liters of smuggled diesel and seized the goods along with tankers.

Similarly, large quantity of smuggled betel nut was recovered from the secret cavities of a truck apparently laden with apples and other domestic goods. Moreover, one non-custom paid vehicle and smuggled tyres were also seized.

Collector Quetta Khalid Hussain Jamali, Additional Collector Moin Afzal appreciated the work of Deputy collector Hamid Qambrani, Assistant Collector Yousuf Mari, Superintendent Asif Zaman, Senior Preventive Officer Muhammad Zaman Mazari, Inspectors Muhammad Rafiq, Ilahi Bukx, Muhammad Aslam and other staff.
