QUETTA: A private employee at Intelligence& Investigation I&I Quetta was killed while two sepoys were injured in an armed attack but three un- identified gun men.
According to an eye witness living in house opposite I&I office located in a rented house in Chaman Housing Scheme, Airport Road, he heard screams of people and when came out to know what is happening, a blast was heard followed by a huge fire.
The people rushed to the place and rescued two custom sepoys whose were tied with ropes. Police and fire brigade was called who rushed to the spot
Fire men took away the injured private person who was stated to have died later during treatment. The details are coming in but involvement of criminal elements is confirmed.
A police party led by SSP is at place of incident and is investigating. The top officials of I&I Quetta left for their homes on Eid UL Fitr holidays and only guards were on duty.
Soon after the incident, security was beefed up at Custom House Quetta which is few places away.
