QUETTA: Customs Quetta has foiled an attempt to smuggle large quantity of urea fertilizer.

Information was passed through Collector Dr. Fareed Khan to Additional Collector Moin Afzal that attempts would be made to smuggle urea fertilizer in the garb of nitro phosphate.

A team headed by Assistant Collector Baz Gul and Inspector Aslam Solangi along with Class-4 staff seized 12-trucks load (20 tons) of urea at Darakhshan check post.

On the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Member Customs Tariq Huda and Chief Collector Muhammad Sadiq have advised Customs formations to keep strict vigilance on the movement of smuggled goods.
