KARACHI: Karachi International Container Terminal (KICT) administration has lauded efforts of Collector Customs Appraisement West Karachi Jamil Nasir for record disposal of containers through auction and destruction.
Collector Customs Appraisement West visited KICT port on the invitation of CEO KICT, where, CEO admired the hard work put in by Collector and his team deputed at the port for the speedy and effective disposal of containers through Auction and destruction and presented him with a commendation certificate.
Disposal of containers will ensure availability of containers foe exports and reduce the congestion at port for the upcoming import cargo.
Collector Customs Appraisement West Jamil Nasir said this milestone was achieved through mutual coordination and cooperation of Customs authorities and KICT administration, and will continue in the future as well to facilitate trade.
