KARACHI: Admitting a constitution petition for hearing, a customs appellate bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) Ordered production of a Toyota Land Cruiser before the Nazir of SHC.

The bench earlier heard initial arguments from Ms Dil Khurram Shaheen appearing for the petitioner Waseem Akram Choudhry, owner of the detained vehicle of model 1994. She stated that tribunal has ruled in favor of the petitioner but vehicle is not being released forcing the petitioner to file the instant petition.

The bench was informed by a counsel for Pakistan Customs that a Special Customs Reference Application has been filed by the department.

The bench after hearing both the sides ordered the department to produce vehicle before the Nazir of the Court.
