KARACHI: The Custom officials of MCC Appraisement East were restrained by a customs Appellate bench of High Court of Sindh from taking coercive action against petitioner company Messers Blue Mountain Trading.
The bench was hearing a petition filed through Franklin Law Associates. A counsel from the law firm relief on an order passed by SHC in petition 1102 of 2020 and others in which the bench has passed restraining order. The counsel also prayed that goods in dispute coffee bean products may also be ordered to be moved to CPF bond as per earlier orders
The bench allowing the request asked the custom officials to conduct as per law and to abstain from taking any coercive action against the petioner till August 11, the next date of hearing of the case.
