KARACHI: Hearing a petition filed by Messes Dawn To Dusk Enterprises, a customs Appellate bench of High Court of Sindh ordered provisional release of a consignment of cosmetics.
The bench headed by Justice Khadim Hussain M Shaikh earlier heard a counsel from Franklin Law Associates representing the petioner company which imported Fair & Lovely cream.
The counsel referred to an order passed earlier by the SHC in identical matter where in provisional release was allowed subject to deposition of disputed amount of Sales Tax before the concerned Collectorate.
The counsel for respondent custom officials conceded the factual point after which the bench ordered provisional release as per terms of order passed in identical matter while adjourning further proceedings till third weak of August.
