ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has notified that Muhammad Zahid (BS-21) officer of Pakistan Customs Service, currently posted as Director General Transit Trade, shall report directly to Chairperson FBR in all official matters.
An official said with this notification Directorate General of Transit Trade had been taken out of the ambit of Pakistan Customs.
It may be mentioned here that government is reforming the transit trade and expanding the scope beyond Afghanistan and India.
