KARACHI: The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) has foiled a bid to smuggle narcotics and seized approximately 25kg cocaine that had come from South America under the garb of wood.
Acting on secret information, ANF, SIC, PCU team at South Asian Pakistan Terminal (SAPT) Karachi intercepted a consignment comprising four containers containing wood, which were coming from South America.
During thorough physical examination 25 kgs Cocaine was recovered from one of the containers. The said drug was tactfully concealed inside wood. The value of the seized narcotics is around $600,000 in the international market.
