LONDON: Catalis Plc, a UK based games company focused on the development, testing and publishing of video games for the global market, announced the appointment of Gary Hughes as Chairman, effective immediately.
Gary is a chartered accountant with broad international experience as an executive across the FMCG, media, gaming and gambling sectors, and brings with him extensive PLC, private equity and non-executive experience.
As an operating executive with Apax Partners he worked across a number of the firm’s portfolio companies, including King Digital Entertainment. As a non-executive, Gary has sat on the Boards of J Sainsbury plc, Booker Group plc, Premier Farnell plc and The Scottish Football Association as well as a number of other highly reputable public and private businesses.
