QUETTA: MCC Quetta has seized smuggled goods worth Rs11 million as a crackdown against movement of smuggled goods continues under the supervision of Collector Quetta Ashraf Ali.

The staff of MCC Quetta intercepted Karachi bound coaches and seized 300 bales of cloth worth Rs5.0 million. Moreover, 1.8 ton of betel nut was also seized valuing Rs3.6 million. The Customs staff also seized lrge quantity of new spare parts worth Rs2.5 million.

An another crack down against non-customs-paid vehicles as per the directions of Balochistan High Court and CM Balochistan with the support of police continues and more than 15 vehicles were detained.[the_ad id=”31605″]Collector Ashraf Ali appreciated both Assistant Collectors Akmal Durranni and Umair Arshad for efficiently checking movement of smuggled goods.
