KARACHI: A division bench of High Court of Sindh comprising Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi and Justice Zulfiqar Ahmed Khan on Friday stayed the delivery of an auctioned loader truck while hearing a petition filed by its importer Rainbow Enterprises.
The bench also ordered issuance of notices for Jan 15 to respondents including Collector of Customs, Appraisement, East.
The petitioner company maintained that due to financial constraints it was unable to get the importer item released which was later auctioned by Pakistan International Container Terminal (PICT) for recovering dues.
The bench today after hearing the counsel for petitioner company stayed the delivery while putting the respondents on notice for Jan 15.
