KARACHI: The Link Judge to Special Customs Court admitted an accused Essa Gul to bail against a solvent surety of rupees 100,000.
The applicant was arrested in a case of smuggling Indian origin betel nut pouches recovered from two Suzuki pickups.
According to details, ASO officials intercepted two Suzuki pickups on Mauripur road. The drivers of the vehicles fled away.
The ASO later booked Essa Gul in the case.
Today the applicant/accused reached the trial court with his counsel Ms Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate and surrendered as his bail before arrest plea was fixed for hearing.
Later after hearing the sides, the link judge Tariq Khosa admitted the accused to bail against a surety of rupees 100,000.
