KARACHI: Justice Aziz-ur-Rahman of High Court of Sindh (SHC) on Friday deferred hearing of a special criminal revision application filed by one Muhammad Farooq of AMI Pakistan booked by Pakistan Customs in a FIR alleging mis-declaration in at least six consignments causing huge loss of revenue to government coffers.

The applicant through his counsel Ms Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate assailed the rejection of his application for acquittal under section 265-K of Cr.P.C.

A state counsel appearing for the Sindh government claimed that copy of the application was not recieved by his office.

The bench in view of statement by government side deferred further hearing to an unspecified date to be fixed later by the office of the court.
