QUETTA: The Model Customs Collectorate Quetta paid Rs.71.752 million refunds to exporters during first 11 months of Fiscal Year 2017-18 under head of customs duty (CD).
According to details told by Collector Customs Collectorate Ashraf Ali that during first 11 months (July to May) FY 2017-18 the Collectorate tried to fully accommodated business community especially exporters so they can run their business easily.
He said that Collectorate of Quetta always preferred to provide all basic essentials to the exporters whenever they needed, he added that during initial 11 months of FY17-18 the Quetta Collectorate paid Rs.71.752 million of rebates while it paid Rs.72.542 million of refunds under head of Customs Duty (CD).
Ashraf told that MCC Quetta paid Rs.15.468 million of rebates during month of May FY17-18 whereas it paid off Rs.1.374 million of refunds during same period. Collector said that MCC Quetta intends to clear all the rebate/refund pending cases before ending of current financial year 2017-18.
