KARACHI: Directorate General of Reforms & Automation Karachi has developed a module for the integration of Department of Plant Protection, Pesticides and Federal Seed Certification & Registration Department with the WeBOC system.
Team led by Director Wajid Ali is finalizing roll out and the module is scheduled to go live on March 21, 2018 in the WeBOC system. This integration will enable the said departments to issue electronic Release Order/Phytosanitary Certificates/PSI Report Endorsements etc.
Directorate General has advised the customs agents dealing with the clearance of goods that require NOCs/ ROW etc. as per Import Policy Order from the above mentioned departments to obtain electronic Release Order/ Phytosanitary Certificates / PSI Report Endorsement for their consignments for which GDs will gate out on or after March 21, 2018.
It is pointed out that certificates mentioned above are required by WeBOC System for all new and under process GDs.
An office bearer said Karachi Customs Agents Association (KCAA) is keen to bring every procedural required department on interface of WeBOC in order to simplify the clearances.
