KARACHI: Directorate of Customs Valuation Karachi has revised the customs values of tyre and tubes vide Valuation Ruling No.985/2016.
Customs values of tyre and tubes were earlier determined vide Valuation Ruling No. 812/2016. The trade community has been demanding revision of prices of the commodity owing to downward trend in its prices in the international market and as per directives of Sindh High Court Order.
Director Wasif Memon formed a team comprising Additional Director Mumtaz Khoso, Deputy Director Nausheen Riaz, Principal Appraiser Abdul Hameed and Valuation Officer Nasir to determine the customs values of subject goods afresh.
