ASO Lahore seizes smuggled goods worth millions

KARACHI: Anti-smuggling Organization (ASO) Preventive Lahore has seized five smuggled vehicles and recovered miscellaneous non-duty paid foreign origin goods worth millions of rupees.

Collector Preventive Lahore is keeping strict vigilance on the movement of smuggled goods and has advised the ASO to make all out efforts to eliminate smuggling.

ASO is headed by Assistant Collector Muhammad Asim Awan, and comprise of Superintendent Waqar Ahmad Cheema,  Deputy Superintendents Ejaz Rasool Shah, Mazhar Abbas Bhutter and Inspectors Irfan Mumtaz, Sajjad Bukhari, Shahid Bhatti.

The seized vehicles include Toyota Vitz, Mitsubishi Pajero, Toyota Coaster, Mercedes Benz Car while the recovered smuggled goods include flavored Soft Drink, Ladies suiting Fabric, Cigarettes, Curtain Cloth, Gav Zaban (Herbs), Welding Electrodes, Smoking Flavoured Cool and artificial Leather.
