KARACHI: Justice Muhammad Iqbal Kalhoro of High Court of Sindh on Friday ordered investigation Officer of Pakistan Customs to obtain and produce a Close Circuit TV footage of Jinnah airport terminal to establish the alleged smuggling case.
The bench was hearing a bail plea by accused Raees Khan. Miss Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate appearing for the applicant submitted that the recovery is doubtful. The IO in reply said that the case is genuine and the accused was arrested following recovery of crystals concealed in a brief case carried by the accused.
The bench after challenge to the recovery and doubts over the recovery ordered the Custom officials to produce the CCTV footage while deferring further proceedings till Oct 17.
