KARACHI: An appellate bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Munib Akhtar and Justice Syed Saeed uddin Nasir on Wednesday ordered Pakistan Customs, Valuation to file para wise comments in a petition filed by H.N Brothers.

Earlier at the outset of the hearing Masooda Siraj advocate appearing for Director General Customs Valuation maintained that the petition is not maintainable as petitioner has not filed any GD.

Ghulamullah Shaikh advocate, counsel for petitioners submitted that the Director General valuation do not have unfettered powers and in this particular case has transcended his authority by enhancing the value of leather soap under Vr 863 of 2016.

The bench after hearing the sides while directing the department to respond to the points raised in the petition put off further hearing till  Oct 10.
