ISLAMABAD: MCC Islamabad is keeping strict vigil on the movement of smuggled and non-duty paid goods as well as on the movement of contrabands.
Collector MCC Islamabad Dr. Arslan Subuctageen has also advised the formations to keep an eye on the movement of air passengers.
Pakistan Customs Staff at Islamabad Airport seized fine quality white heroine powder weighing 1.8 Kg, from accused Muhammad Siddique of Khushab who was travelling to Madina via Doha through Qatar Air, Flight no QR-633. Value in International Market comes to Rs20 million.
Heroine was artfully concealed in his suit case cavities, false roof, bottom and iron handle.
Accused is arrested and criminal case is registered under Customs Act. Investigations are underway.
