KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has advised all the formations of Customs and Inland Revenue to make no direct contact with Taiwan authorities/agencies as Pakistan pursues ‘One China’ policy and does not recognize Taiwan as separate independent state.
The officers and officials of FBR in the country are not allowed to meet TAITRA or any other Taiwan authority functionaries.
FBR has forwarded the directives of Ministry of Foreign Affairs that there is no change in Pakistan’s policy towards Taiwan.
