KARACHI: The Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation Quetta has made a remarkable progress and seized different goods worth Rs 123.501 million in 26 different cases during April 01, 2015 to Mary 25, 2015.

The seized goods include hundreds of thousands of Irani diesel, narcotics, vehicles, cloth, tyres and electronic items, which were being smuggled into the country. The duty/taxes involved on these goods come to rs16.186 million.

I&I Quetta on the directives of Dg I&I-Customs, Lutfullah Virk has expedited their crackdown against smugglers, resultantly several bids to smuggle goods into the country were foiled and several culprits were also arrested. It may be mentioned here that Lutfullah virk has tasked Inamullah Wazir to eliminate smuggling.

The seized goods include 378,000 liters of Irani diesel, 240 KGs of charas, 17 oil tankers, thousands of yards of cloth and hundreds of tyres among others.
