KARACHI: The trading activities i.e. import and export remained quite disturbed as the container terminals could operate in routine due to foggy weather conditions.
Pakistan International Container Terminal (PICT), Karachi International Container Terminal (KICT) and Qasim International Container Terminal (QICT) remained affected while QICT was the worst disturbed.
Grounding activity was stopped on Thursday late night, which was restored in the morning, some 50 containers could not be grounded. Traffic was jam and long lines of trailers were seen at port Qasim.
The met office has forecast foggy weather for Saturday and it is expected that grounding activities would remain disturbed on Saturday also.
