KARACHI: The MCC Appraisement East has advised all the deputy/assistant collectors to conduct post release verification (PRV) of goods declarations clearing July 01 to December 15, 2014 and submit the comprehensive report by December 30, 2014.
The PRV would be conducted by assistant/deputy collectors in-charge of the groups and the comprehensive report of the detections unearthed shall be submitted to Zeba Bashir Ahmed Additional collector-I latest by December 30, 2014.
The PRV would focus on violations of Valuation rulings; inadmissible claim of unnecessary SRO; incorrect classification, inadmissible benefit under FTA notifications, cases where examination report differs from the assessment findings; any other anomaly or discrepancy.
