KARACHI: Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement (East) has constituted teams to re-examine the goods and re-appraise the reverse price for auctionable goods.
In an office order issued Wednesday, the teams had been constituted to re-examine the goods and re-appraise the reverse price under Rule 58(2) of the Customs Rules, 2001 in all such cases wherein the auctionable goods for any reason have deteriorated and have high reverse price vis-à-vis their current physical condition.
The team constituted for scram and secondhand clothing included: Jameel Ahmed Baloch, Deputy Collector; Muhammad Faisal, Assistant Collector; Saifullah, Principal Appraiser; Amir Nasir Ali Khan, Appraising Officer; and Samad Surhio, Examining Officer.
The other team set up for carbon rice pitch included: Rizwan Bashir, Deputy Collector; Shahban Iman, Deputy Collector; Javed Akhtar, Principal Appraiser; and Habib-ur-Rehman, Appraising Officer.
The teams have been directed to submit their final reports by May 24, 2014.
