KARACHI: As the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has notified that officers of BS 16-19, who are working in the same position against a specific post for the last three years should immediately be transferred, a large scale movement of officers in Pakistan Customs is expected in a couple of days.
Chief Collector of Appraisement, Nasir Masroor has already notified transfer of a large number of officers following the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) decision to transfer those officers of Grade 16 to 19, who are working in the same position for the last three years.
As many as 9 Principal Appraisers, 45 Appraisers and 36 Examiners belonging to MCC-Appraisement-East, MCC-Appraisement-West and MCC-Port Qasim have been moved from their current positions.
According to an official memo, the revenue board decided that officers of BS 16 to 19, who are working in the same position against a specific post for the last three years should immediately be transferred from such place of posting.
The memo instructed all chief commissioners Inland Revenue, Chief Collectors, Collectors and Director Generals to conduct the same exercise in the area of their respective jurisdiction for implementation of this decision and intimate the FBR.
Officials at local tax offices said that the decisions had been taken on incidents of corruption and misconduct by officials.
Principal Appraisers that have been transferred from MCC-Appraisement East to MCC-Appraisement West include Asad Masood, Rafiullah, Najamus Saqib, Shaheen farooq and Ghulam Yaseen while Principal Appraisers moved from MCC-Appraisement West to MCC-Appraisement East include Nihar Khan, Murtaza Yar Khan, Naseer-ud-Din Humayun and Mir Mansoor Ahmad.
Appraising Officers moved from MCC Port Qasim to MCC Appraisement-West include Nihal Kazim, Abdul Aziz, Sarfaraz a. Bangalzi, Nadeem Ahmed Khan, Amjad Iqbal, M.Nazeer Khan, Abdul waheed Khilji and Shahid hussain Dasti.
Appraising Officers moved from MCC Appraisement-East to MCC Appraisement-West include Hayatullah Khan, ejaz Ahmed, Ilyas Ahsan Khan, Irshad Ahmed, Ali akber, Muhammad Akram, Imran Aslam gul, Malik Shahid Iqbal, Amir Shuja, Rasheed Khan and Khan Mohammad Keerio. Naeem Khan Afridi was moved from MCC Appraisement East to MCC Port Qasim.
And those transferred from West to East include Tariq Ahmed Mehsar, Jamshed Ali, Noor Akber Mehar, Ghulam Mohammad Isran, M. Farooq Khan, Munir Ahmed Brohi, Rashid Akhtar Khanzada, Mir Alam Khan, Ghulam Ashar Mirani, Mir Shahbaz, Manzoor Ali Rajpar, Abdul Rasheed Sheikh, S.M Sohail, Syed Azam Shah, Kausar hussain, Abbas Khan Saldera and Mohammad Anwar Khan.
Appraising Officers that have been moved from MCC Appraisement-West to MCC Port Qasim are Fayyaz Ahmed Rai, Babar gulzar, Ashraf Bhatti, Munir Ahmed brohi, Abdul Rasheed Sheikh, Mubashir Hassan, Zulfiqar Ali Shah, Noor Mohammad Kalwar, Pervez Iqbal and Qaiser Nadeem Chatta.
Examining Officers moved from MCC Appraisement-East to MCC Appraisement-West include Ishtiaq hussain Shah, M. Javed Hussain, Mohammad Sultan, Syed Riffat Ali, Ms. Talat Zareen, Zafar Iqbal, Shabir Ahmed, Mohammad Arif-II, Riaz Ahmed, Mohammad Rauf Khan and Jahangir Afzal.
An those transferred from West to East include Amanullah Bhatti, Rab Nawaz Khan, Zar Khan, Saleem Akhtar, Ihsan Ul Haq Ch., Abdul ghani Soomro, Liaquat Ali Shad, Mazhar Imam Zaidi, Sabir ali Khan, Ms. Nazia Ahsan Kafeel, Ghulam Abbas and S. Farhan Mehdi.
Examiners moved from MCC Port Qasim to MCC Appraisement-West include Ali shah, Yakoob Ali and Ali Murad.
Examiners transferred from MCC Appraisement-West to MCC Port Qasim are Gulam Mustafa, S.M Fawad, Naushad Ali, M. Ajmal Khan, Mohammad Idrees, Sardar Baber Durrani and Ms. Khizra Saeed
