KARACHI: The Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) of MCC Preventive, Karachi has foiled a bid of smuggling non-duty paid diesel into Pakistan and arrested six accused here the other day.

The ASO acted on the information and intercepted the said boat in Pakistani waters near Mubarak Village.

The diesel so recovered and the wooden boat has been seized by the officials and an FIR of the case was lodged and the accused persons arrested in this case were presented before the Special Judge (Customs, Sales Tax and Federal Excise) who have remanded them for investigation.
