KARACHI: The staff of Preventive (Pakistan Customs) and Sindh Rangers yesterday in a joint operation seized a huge cache of smuggled Indian contrabands from Baldia Town area of the city.

According to Rangers’ spokesman, on an intelligence report, a rangers’ team conducted raid in Baldia’s Yousuf Goth bus terminal and recovered 66 tons smuggled Indian gutka, 200 tons Indian betel nuts, 2000 packets of Indian cigarettes, 1000 Indian tyres and a huge quantity of medicines.

The Rangers handed the recovered goods to Custom officials for legal formalities.
