KARACHI: Dozens of constitution petitions filed by importers, trade bodies, associations and otherswere adjourned till Nov 23 here on Thursday.
As the courts started work and cases were being taken up when office bearers of the Sindh High Court Bar Association approached the Chief Justice of SHC requesting him to suspend court work. They told the CJ, SHC that they are protesting the killing of lawyer son of DSP who was gunned down in Quetta on Wednesday night with other family members.
The CJ allowing the request ordered suspension of the court work for the day after which benches hearing the cases rose adjourning further hearing to unspecified dates.
