Karachi: Shah Rukh Jamal, esteemed businessman and a leading figure in the global trade sector, particularly in fostering economic ties between China and Pakistan, has been nominated as Chairman of the Executive Committee on Trade Development of the China-Pakistan Business Development Council (CPBDC).
This nomination comes upon the recommendations of the Technical Advisory Board and the Board of Directors of CPBDC, acknowledging his pivotal role in enhancing bilateral trade and economic relations between the two brotherly countries.
Shah Rukh’s leadership at the UHL Company and his extensive experience in global trade have significantly contributed to strengthening economic, commerce, and trade ties. His new role as Chairman of the Executive Committee is expected to further boost bilateral business cooperation, investment, and industrial cooperation between China and Pakistan, particularly in the context of CPEC-BRI driven opportunities.
The CPBDC has outlined that Shah Rukh will be responsible for the development of the Executive Committee members and related issues, ensuring comprehensive input within the framework of the Committee. For the smooth functioning of the Executive Committee, he will consult with the AVP-CPBDC in Karachi.
This appointment highlights Shah Rukh’s effective role in fostering and bolstering bilateral business ties and economic activities between China and Pakistan.
