KARACHI: A custom appellate bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) suspended judgments passed by Custom Appellate Tribunal in three separate but identical appeal of M/s Abdul Wali Traders.
The SHC bench earlier heard Sardar Zafar Hussain Advocate appearing for the Collectorate of Customs South Asia Pacific Terminal (SAPT). The bench after hearing initial arguments ordered issuance of notices to the respondent for 21.01.2025 while suspending order of the Customs Appellate Tribunal in Custom Appeals No K-2655, 2656 and 2657 till further orders.
The same bench also passed identical orders in respect of eight identical SCRA’s No 995 to 1002 while suspending orders in Custom Appeal No K-2703 to 2710 till further orders after hearing Sardar Zafar Hussain Advocate.
