ISLAMABAD: Director General Transit Trade Dr. Iftikhar has said that Directorate General of Transit Trade is keeping a strict check on the movement of transit cargo, and there has been no incident of pilferage and replacement of the cargo.
Commenting on a recent event in which miscellaneous goods were seized, Dr. Iftikhar said there was no lapse on part of Transit Trade, s the goods had successfully crossed the border into Afghanistan.
He informed that the goods were smuggled into Pakistan through a different GD file at Angor Adda, in which undeclared goods were to be moved into Pakistan through mis-declaration.
Directorate General of Transit Trade is efficiently keeping vigilance to avoid any instance on misused of transit trade.
