KARACHI: Director General Customs Valuation Syed Tanveer Ahmed has revised the customs values of several stationery items and accordingly amended the Valuation Ruling No.961/2016 vide order-in-revision No.275/2016.
M/s Dollar Industries Pvt Ltd and others had approached the Director General submitting that values of several stationary items had been determined on higher side while these goods were being traded in the international market at lower rates.
The values of the goods were worked out through market survey and were found to be on lower side. Accordingly, Syed Tanveer Ahmed modified the Valuation Ruling 961/2016 as under:
