KARACHI: Many quarters are not in agreement with the Seniority List of Civil Servants prepared by the HRM of Federal board of Revenue (FBR).
“Perusal of Seniority List available on web, which is being maintained by the HRM FBR, in clear cut violation of the general principles of seniority as described under paragraph-C of Annexure-l of General Principles of seniority,” an officer said.
“Most of the junior officers’ names recruited directly have been placed well before the name of the officers promoted in the same year. As per seniority laws the officers promoted to the higher grade in a continuous arrangement and as a regular measure in a particular year shall as a class be senior to those appointed by direct recruitment in the same year,” the officer said.
