KARACHI: On the special directions of the Prime Minister, a three-day training program aimed at enhancing the capacity of Customs prosecutors concluded in Karachi. The program, conducted by the Ministry of Law and Justice in collaboration with the Federal Board of Revenue, marks the final training session in a series that previously took place in Islamabad and Lahore, catering to participants from KP and GB.

The training brought together experts and participants dedicated to strengthening legal practices in customs enforcement. Covering various critical topics, the sessions provided participants with invaluable knowledge and skills, including insights into trade-based money laundering and the intersection of financial crimes and customs activities.

Muhammad Sadiq, Director General Valuation and Chief Collector Exports, Karachi, graced the ceremony as Chief Guest. He appreciated the Ministry of Law & Justice for its commitment to the legal fraternity across the country and its efforts in capacity building of prosecutors and investigators working in customs. Sadiq also acknowledged the role of the Federal Minister for Law & Justice in the initiative and his dedication to fostering excellence in legal practice. He suggested organizing similar training programs in the future to further enhance the skills and capabilities of legal professionals nationwide.
