KARACHI: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced a new distribution of responsibilities among officers in the Customs Operations Wing, Islamabad. This reorganization is effective immediately and will remain in place until further notice.
The notification, approved by the Member (Customs-Operations), entails the following assignments:
Mr. Haroon Waqar Malik (PCS/BS-19) has been appointed as Secretary (Operations). Malik is a very competent and well reputed officer.
Ms. Haleema Qasim (PCS/BS-19) will serve as Secretary (International Customs-I).
Mr. Asfand Yar Khan (PCS/BS-19) has been designated as Secretary (International Customs-II).
Mr. Faizan Badar (PCS/BS-18) is assigned the role of Secretary (Enforcement).
Mr. Ali Hassan (PCS/BS-18) will take on the position of Secretary (Coordination).
This strategic reshuffle aims to streamline operations and enhance efficiency within the Customs Operations Wing.
