Karachi: The Karachi Customs Agents Association (KCAA), under the leadership of President Mr. Muhammad Aamir and General Secretary Mr. Mansoor Ali, is addressing the matter with the utmost seriousness, in close collaboration with the All Pakistan Customs Agents Association (APCAA).

Monitoring the Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue’s (FBR) statement, the KCAA aims to resolve the issue in a mutually beneficial manner, ensuring a positive message is sent to the customs agent community. The KCAA emphasizes the importance of upholding integrity and respect for customs agents, allowing them to fulfill their professional commitments with confidence.

The KCAA believes that an overly aggressive approach would be counterproductive. Instead, they aim to strike a balance between supporting trade and respecting the sentiments of the customs agent community, prioritizing a resolution that is both amicable and constructive.

In their efforts, the KCAA has reached out to the leadership of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and expressed their concerns to the Chief Collector South and higher customs authorities, hoping for a positive response.
