Establishment of Talagang Chamber Will Play a Key Role in Promoting Economic Activities: Former Vice President FPCCI:

Karachi (Commerce Reporter) Former Vice President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Zahid Iqbal Chaudhry, stated that under the leadership of Malik Shabbir Awan and his team, the establishment of the Talagang Chamber will be a significant milestone in the development of the district, the promotion of economic activities, and resolving the issues of the business community. Speaking at a recognition event organized by Malik Shabbir Awan, a prominent business leader from the Pothohar region, Zahid Iqbal Chaudhry also appreciated the efforts and support of Zafar Bakhtawari, Secretary General of the United Business Group, in the formation of the Talagang Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Nasir Mahmood Chaudhry, Babar Chaudhry, and Syed Imran Bukhari were also present at the occasion. Zahid Iqbal Chaudhry mentioned that Pakistan’s economic situation is improving; the current account deficit has further reduced to its lowest level in 13 months, inflation has dropped to 12.6%, and it is expected that the country’s external financial position will further stabilize. This will enhance the country’s credit rating. However, providing electricity to the industry at the lowest possible rates will reduce production costs and enable exporters to compete in the global market.

He emphasized that the business and industrial communities are currently facing several challenges, but the patron-in-chief of UBG, SM Tanveer, along with other leadership, is raising these concerns with the government. It is essential that the government prioritizes the resolution of these issues.
