Pakistan Single Window (PSW) has been honored with the International Prize on Gender Equality in Trade. The prestigious award recognizes governments that have implemented innovative and impactful gender-responsive trade policies.

The announcement came after the launch of the prize on March 6, 2024, by the Co-Chairs of the WTO Informal Working Group on Trade and Gender: Patricia Benedetti (WTO Ambassador of El Salvador), Simon Manley (WTO Ambassador of the UK), and Clara Delgado (WTO Ambassador of Cabo Verde). 

PSW secured the award in Category I, “Female Entrepreneurs,” for their outstanding Export Program titled “Khadijah Women Entrepreneurship Program.” 

PSW shares this honor with ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones Red.es from Spain.

The award underscores PSW’s commitment to gender-responsive trade policy making at the national, regional, and international levels. Their exemplary efforts stood out among numerous entries, earning them this well-deserved recognition.

The official award ceremony will take place during the WTO Public Forum 2024 in Geneva on September 10. PSW’s achievement sets a powerful precedent for advancing gender equality in global trade.
