Karachi (PR), Mr. Mehmood ul Hasan Awan, General Secretary of the Karachi Customs Agents Association (KCAA), announced through a press release that the KCAA’s Annual General Election for the term 2024-2025 will be held on Saturday, 14th September 2024, at the KCAA Auditorium (Head Office), Karachi.
In this regard, necessary information has been conveyed to all members via Election Notice No. KCAA-560/2023-2024 dated 29th July 2024. According to the election schedule, Nomination Forms will be available from 3rd August 2024, with the last date for filing Nomination Forms being 24th August 2024. Scrutiny will take place on 26th August 2024, and the list of eligible (valid) candidates will be displayed on 27th August 2024. The last date for withdrawal of nominations is 7th September 2024, and the final list of candidates will be displayed on 8th September 2024.
All members and voters are requested to bring their original Custom House Agent Licence (CHAL) Booklet and KCAA Smart Card for casting their vote. Members who have not yet cleared their outstanding payment (Membership Fee) are requested to do so on or before 24th August 2024; otherwise, they will not be eligible to participate in the election process or cast their vote.
