KARACHI: In yet another identical order, a custom appellate bench of High Court of Sindh ordered release of Secondary Quality Flat-Rolled Products of Iron or Non-Alloy Steel, Galvanized Plain (GP) while hearing a constitutional petition filed by Messer’s Perfect Craft (SMC) Private Limited Karachi.
The bench heard Muhammad Adeel Awan advocate for the petitioner, Sardar Zafar Hussain for the Directorate of Custom Valuation and Assistant Attorney General Kashif Nazeer.
The counsel drew attention of court towards orders in petitions involving identical matters. The bench after a brief hearing ordered release of goods after petitioner side secures disputed amount of duties and taxes with the Nazir of SHC.
