Karachi: The Sindh Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control (ET&NC) Department has officially announced the successful completion of the test run for its new Public Sector Window (PSW) module. This innovative digital system is designed to streamline the collection and management of the Sindh Infrastructure Development Cess (SIDC), including waivers and bank guarantees.
Following rigorous testing, the PSW module is set to be implemented nationwide, replacing the current WeBOC system effective from Thursday, April 4, 2024. The transition will facilitate digital SIDC payment processes and generate detailed bank guarantee reports through the PSW system.
To ensure a seamless changeover, the department has scheduled an online training session via Zoom for all ET&NC officers and traders. The session aims to provide comprehensive guidance on the new module and is slated for Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 11:00 am (Meeting ID: 860 1414 3720).
Authorities have urged all relevant stakeholders to attend the training to guarantee full preparedness for the upcoming system shift. The move marks a significant step towards modernizing the department’s operations and enhancing service delivery across the country.
