QUETTA: Customs Enforcement Quetta has recovered large quantity of smuggled goods including sugar, tyres, spare auto parts, NCP vehicles, cloth, cigarettes, dry fruits, carpet, generators and other goods. The value of the seized goods comes at Rs450 million.
Moreover, huge quantity of sugar which was being transported to interior province and border areas without the permit was seized.
Chief Collector Baluchistan Abdul Qadir Memon, Collector Quetta Irfan ur Rehman and Additional Collector Umar Shafique appreciated the work of Deputy Collector Moeed Kanjo, Deputy Collector Asad Aleem, Assistant Collector Haseeb Ahmed and other staff members.
The Field Enforcement Unit Inspectors Fareed Rind, Masood Jamali, Nazir Kurd, Arsalan Sarwar, Kunwar Ahsan Khan, Fayyaz Faraz, Ali Kamran, Ayaz Khan and Asif Rafiq Sindho conducted the operations.
