KARACHI: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has notified transfers and postings of BS-20 Pakistan Customs Service officers with immediate effect. These ad-hoc transfers are the aftermath of an FIR lodged by FIA against Customs officers pertaining to collecting bribes in lieu of facilitating smuggling.
Mr. Muhammad Saqif Saeed (BS-20), Director Transit Trade Karachi; Mr. Muhammad Amir Thahim (BS-20), Collector enforcement Karachi; and Mr. Usman Bajwa (BS-20), Collector Exports Karachi are transferred to Chief (Admin Pool), FBR (HQ), Islamabad.
Mr. Basit Maqsood Abbasi (Pakistan Customs Service/BS-20), Collector (Adjudication), Faisalabad is posted as Collector Enforcement, Karachi. The officer is also assigned the look after charge of post of Collector Customs (Exports), Karachi in addition to his own duties.
Ms. Zahra Haider (Pakistan Customs Service/BS-20), Collector Customs, (Appeals) Lahore, is assigned the look after charge of post of Collector, Collectorate of Customs (Adjudication), Faisalabad in addition to her own duties.
Ms. Saadia Sheeraz (Pakistan Customs Service/BS-19), Director, (OPS) Transit Trade, Karachi is assigned the look after charge of post of Director (OPS), Directorate of Transit Trade (HQ), Karachi in addition to her own duties.
