KARACHI: A custom appellate bench of High Court of Sindh allowed a petition filed by Lords Impex Karachi seeking release of its consignments. The chairman FBR, Collector of Custom Appraisment (SAPT) and Director, Custom Valuation were cited as respondents in the petition.
The bench earlier heard Amjad Haya Advocate, counsel for the petitioner who submitted that consignments covered under the petition are pending clearance whereas an Order in Revision has been passed which is now subjudice before the Custom Appellate Tribunal, Karachi.

The counsel submitted that petitioner company is ready to secure the differential amount in the shape of pay order.

Sardar Zafar Hussain Advocate representing the respondents waived the notice and did not oppose the plea.

The bench allowed the request as an ad-interim arrangement and ordered the petitioner to deposit the Pay Order/Bank Guarantee to the tune of differential amount with the collectorate concerned.
